Michelle Lynn Designs is the product of one individual (that would be me!) following her dreams; with much encouragement from friends and family. After studying fashion design at both Marist College, in New York, and The Academy of Art College, in San Francisco, I set aside my devotion to the arts when my Type A personality told me I needed to be more realistic and I started to worry about how I was going to make a living in the arts. However, after having my children, I have come to realize that I must embrace every day, every moment, and every opportunity, and I am revisiting my desire to make beautiful things. Michelle Lynn Designs is the product of my creations during those few hours, minutes, or seconds that I can capture in a given day. I am thrilled to be partaking in my dreams while raising two amazing children and I could not do any of it without the genuine support of my husband of 15 years.
The goal of Michelle Lynn Designs, other than to fulfill my dream, is to give others, like you, that splash of something fun, funky, one-of a kind, and fabulous for your wardrobe. That item that will make you stand out from the crowd in a “** WOW** - I want to be like her" kind of way. I search high and low to find fabrics that inspire me, that make me smile… that have a little edge. As the great philosopher, Wayne Gretzky, once said “You miss 100% of the shots you never take”. This is my shot!
